CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #521 sketch

  hello lovely stampers!

It's time for the sketch challenge at CAS Colours and sketches and this time I have put together a classic design with 3 squares in a row. I chose to keep it a landscape design.

I found this washi tape when I was cleaning out my cabinet (totally forgotten!) and thought it was so pretty. The 3 squares of vellum have paper pieced succulents laid over them, in an echo to the background washi tape. Some subtle bakers twine underlines the tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! don't forget to check out our guestie Tristan's blog. We can't wait to see your creation in our gallery!

deepest sympathy

 hello crafters!

I'm joining in today with the word challenge #696 over at justusgirls, where the prompt is 'moon'. I just love gazing at the moon - it's so peaceful and comforting, like a dependable friend!

I began by ink blending the background in faded jeans and shaded lilac distress oxides. The moon was a die cut circle, ink smooshed with lost shadow distress oxide, doubled up and outlined with blended lost shadow ink for a haze. A cover of wink of stella gives it a little glitter. The mountains are Sizzix Arctic Bear, one of my favourite sets, and the little clouds from MFT were die cut from ink smooshed card also.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #520 colours

hello crafters!

It's time for the colours challenge at CAS Colours and sketches and this month I'm hosting your challenges! I'm so excited to see everyone's creations, so let's get to it! The happy grouping of colours is perfect for summer fun or a celebration!

I based my design on this card I made last year, changing the vibe to be more celebratory. The background square was embossed, and the inside frame was stamped randomly. Mostly die cuts with a little embossing and some stamping made it fairly simple to pull together.

My youngest turned 18 this year so the demand is high for 18th birthday cards! Thanks so much for stopping by today and we hope to see your card in our gallery! Don't forget to stop by and check out my teammates' blogs and our guestie, Tristan.
