hugs

 hello crafters!

I'm joining in today with justusgirls challenge #718 which is doing a collaboration with timeout challenge #259, and the theme is 'birds of a feather'. How awesome!

I recently got this little sizzix die of the bird on the branch - such a cutie! The background hexagons were die cut from ink smooshed card, some were embossed. The trees were also cut from the same ink smooshed card as the bird to echo the colours.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #533 sketch

  hello lovely crafters!

It's time for our monthly sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, and this sketch was designed by Joanne. Perfect for a landscape CAS card, but if you like you can flip it so it's a portrait orientation instead. We'd love to have you join us with your card creation!

I'm still using up all the leftover ink smooshed card panels, so decided to use a selection of the prettiest ones for my card! Hexagon shapes were die cut and arranged, then die cut buds were layered on top and the sentiment was stamped, die cut and adhered with foam squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We'd love to see your card in the gallery!

  • dies: Alexandra Renke buds set 02, Hero Arts infinity hexagons, MFT bitty banners
  • stamps: Gummiapan happy birthday

ducking

 hello lovely stampers!

It's been a while since I joined in with the sisters at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and had some snarky time so I thought I'd rectify that today. Their current challenge is S is for Snarky. Easy eh?

I used an inked panel from a previous leftover ink mopup. This one had some wet stencilling on it as well. The colours were a bit mad which I thought went well with the sentiment. I added snail stamping and some ink splatters before attaching the witch hazel die cuts and ink splattered snails.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #532 colours

  hello stampers!

It's a new month and we have a new colour challenge at CAS colours and sketches. Joanne has put together a terrific group of colours. I've recently returned from a holiday in Japan and I saw some lovely ikebana there - I've always been a fan, so this was the inspiration for my card.

I began with the die cut vase, ink blended it roughly then stamped some circles in the same colour. All the little dies were cut from either ink smooshed card scraps or coloured card. I lightly ink blended the background and stamped a few more little circles in a neutral colour.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We'd love to see your card in the gallery!
