hello crafters!
Our latest sketch challenge at CAS colours and sketches is out and we'd love to have you join in the fun. The central rectangle is perfect for a CAS card!
The background stripe was stencilled in crumb cake to match the card. The bricks were stencilled with several colours, then splattered with water to achieve an old brick look. This was backed by a watercoloured panel. The gumboots were die cut from ink smooshed card and popped up on foam squares. Sentiment was stamped with the brick colours.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. We'd love to see your card in the gallery!
- dies: Gummiapan twigs, gumboots, MFT skinny strips
- stamps: Paper Rose tiny forest sentiment
- stencils: Darkroom Door bricks, Stamperia lines
- inks: evergreen bough, barn door, aged mahogany, ground espresso distress oxides

The brick paper is gorgeous and I love the texture and real look that the water splatters made! One of a kind paper perfect for a birthday greeting! TFS!
ReplyDeleteRachel those stencilled bricks are so realistic and add so much texture and detail to your card. A fun way to highlight your greenery-filled wellies too!
