hello crafters!
We have a new colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and this time Nancy has chosen the colour palette for you to use. The colours remind me of autumn going into winter, warm and cosy colours!
I decided to do a super simple card. I ink smooshed 2 of the colours onto card then die cut the leaves. The sentiment was die cut from the final colour, popped up on foam squares, and paired with a single strip as background.
**In other news, we are looking for some more talented crafters to join the CC&S Design Team. The full details are in the challenge post but you'll need to enter this challenge (colours) and the next challenge (sketch) so we can see your crafty cards. Just put "DT" after your name on your challenge entry if you're interested. Best of luck!
Thanks so much for stopping by - we'd love to see your card in our gallery.

- dies: Gummiapan leaves, Honey Bee Stamps bitty buzzwords
- inks: vintage photo, black soot, chipped sapphire distress oxides
Ink smooshing for the win Rachel - it softens these colours beautifully and adds great texture to your leaves. I can never resist a diecut sentiment either and this one along with the green strip anchors your design perfectly. A super card!
ReplyDeleteWarm and cozy was exactly what I was going for. I love your smooshed leaves!
