CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #582 colours

 hello stampers!

Our latest challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches is an interesting palette of colours put together by Deborah.  I immediately thought of flowers but wanted to change it up a bit :)

The background was watercoloured, embossed then mounted behind the front panel with foam tape. The cog flowers and stems were die cut from ink smooshed card. The sentiment was stamped, die cut and mounted with foam squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we'd love to have you join in the fun and put your card in our gallery.

  • dies: Trinity Stamps bitty tags, Hero Arts infinity rectangles, Gummiapan cogs
  • stamps: Gummiapan sentiment
  • embossing folder: Sizzix mini foundry
  • inks: picked raspberry, seedless preserves, mowed lawn, evergreen bough distress oxides

  1. Rachel this card is one of those that is totally unexpected - the mix of a masculine shape - gears - and feminine florals, yet it totally works! I love the embossed detail of your inset panel too. This card makes me want to keep looking at it - a CAS visual feast!
