CAS Colours & Sketches challenge #544 colours

 hello stampers!

It's our colour challenge for September at CAS colours and sketches, and these colours were cleverly put together by Nancy.  Not usually colours I would combine but they actually play together nicely!

I used card in the 3 colours to die cut some eucalyptus sprigs, then clear heat embossed them, and added a little touch of white gelly roll pen for interest. I love how the clear heat embossing gives the dark colours some shine but gosh it's hard to photograph well.

The background was stamped and the same sentiment stamped, die cut and clear heat embossed.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We'd love to see your card in the gallery!

  • dies: Alexandra Renke frame rectangle, square frame, MFT skinny strips, Gummiapan eucalyptus leaves
  • stamps: Penny Black grown with love
  • inks: pumice stone distress oxide

  1. Fabulous Rachel - I love the added shine on those foliage stems, along with the stitched detailing it adds just the right amount of interest. You are so great at CAS cards! Thanks too for the lovely birthday card I received from you this week - I appreciate you!
